-The new appointments are Mike Rayfield, who’s joining AMD as senior vice president and general manager of the Radeon Technologies Group and David Wang as senior vice president of engineering at RTG. Both will be reporting directly to Dr. Su.

-Rayfield will handle all aspects of business management and strategy for the company’s graphics business unit, which includes consumer and professional graphics as well as semi-custom products. Wang will be responsible for all aspects of graphics engineering, including architecture, hardware and software development.

“The GPU channel is lower than we would like it to be. So, we are ramping up production. At this point we’re not limited by Silicon per se, so our foundry partners are supplying us. There are shortages in memory and I think that is true across the board whether you’re talking about GDDR5 or talking about High Bandwidth Memory [HBM]. We continue to work through that with our memory partners and that will be certainly one of the key factors going into 2018.”

Kasno je za Vegu, skupo ko djavo a nigdje performansi. Jos uskoro nove arhitekture dolaze...

 

Fakat nikad gluplja graficka od ove vege, em je nidje nema, em je skupa ko djavo, em trosi, em nema neke performanse.

 

Mene dobro služi pogotovo što će neki rudar za nju platiti barem 80% više nego što je koštala.

 

Baha, ja bi to odma sad prodao, pred dolazak Volte...

 

Konto sam za jedno mjesec dana, Volta vrlo moguće neće u prodaju prije maja.

 

Moguce je da ce najavom Volte, sad u Martu na GTC-u, opast malo cijene postojecim arhitekturama. Druga stvar, ovo sa kripto valutama je sve jako nestabilno, niko ne zna tacno kad ce ova manija stati i kad ce mineri pocet gubit interes, u globalu. Ja bi uzeo lovu dok ima fore :/ Bas pratim neke oglase ovdje, vec su lagano pocele opadat cijene high end kartica tj. one lude cijene lagano popustaju, i ako je jos uvijek iznad normale...

 

I meni se čini da se rudarenju odbrojava...
