Nema reviewa jos jer su tek izasla u prodaju ali evo specifikacija:

Fortron has launched its first power supplies with the 80+ GOLD certification, known as the AURUM range. Here’s a recap of the guarantees of this certification:

The power supplies vary from 400 to 700 watts and are priced from €80 to €135! Fortron are therefore the first to make 80+ GOLD (87% efficiency under 100% load) affordable, as up till now for 550 to 600 watt 80+ GOLD supplies you’ve had to pay €120 to €130. Fortron is highlighting the use of high-quality Japanese capacitors (105°C).

The available power on the +12V varies and the number of PCI-Express power supply connectors varies as follows:

    - 400 Watts (384 max (32A) on the 12V), 1x PCI-E 6+2
    - 500 Watts (432 max (36A) on the 12V), 2x PCI-E 6+2
    - 600 Watts (540 max (45A) on the 12V), 3x PCI-E 6+2
    - 700 Watts (672 max (56A) on the 12V), 4x PCI-E 6+2, 1x PCI-E 8

We regret that there isn’t a second PCI-E connector on the 400-watt version, which means it can’t be used without adaptors with cards such as the Radeon HD 6870 or GeForce GTX 460. With an energy consumption of 150 watts in load, both these cards can run with with a configuration using a good quality 400 watt power supply.

A 12cm PMW manages cooling and the various noise levels were measured as follows:

    -400: 21 dBA at 80W, 22 at 160, 26 at 240, 29 at 320 at 31 at 400
    - 500: 21 dBA at 100W, 22 at 200, 29 at 300, 31 at 400 and 32 at 500
    - 600: 24 dBA at 120W, 29 at 240, 32 at 360, 37 at 480 and 38 at 600
    - 700: 24 dBA at 140W, 31 at 280, 36 at 420, 37 at 660 and 38 at 700

According to the official Fortron specs, then, there’s no point geting a bigger model and using it at half load in the hope of having lower noise levels than on a cheaper model.

The democratisation of 80+ GOLD power supplies is certainly a good thing and Fortron isn’t counting on stopping there. Modular 550, 650 and 750 watt versions should soon be coming on stream too.
